Availability and enquiries

Support and project work by arrangement.

Email or use the enquiry form. I'll reply when available and confirm a suitable time before booking.

We confirm the estimated time, any minimum charge and travel outside Christchurch before booking. Website builds and larger changes can be quoted for an agreed scope. Parts, hosting, subscriptions and third-party fees are separate and identified before you commit.

Start with what needs to change

Tell me what is happening, who it affects and any deadline. You don't need a technical diagnosis. I may ask for your website address, an error message or a description of the setup before suggesting the next step. If you have an existing IT team, include the project owner, access requirements and any change-control process when we scope the work.

Agree the scope and charging basis

Before paid work starts, I confirm the proposed work and price or charging basis. The proposal identifies any separate software, licence, hosting, hardware or travel costs. I am not GST registered, so I do not add GST. Estimates depend on the existing setup and access available.

If further problems change the scope, we agree the extra work and cost before proceeding. A published indicative package range is a guide, not a fixed quote for every job.

Arrange remote or onsite help

I'm based in Christchurch. Local onsite visits and remote support across New Zealand are arranged to suit the work. We confirm availability, location and any travel involved before booking. Physical faults may need an onsite technician or the equipment provider.

Keep control of your systems

Your business should retain control of its domain, hosting, email and other accounts. We establish who owns them and what access is needed. Please don't send passwords or recovery codes through the enquiry form.

For a remote session, we agree the support method and access first. I explain how the session ends and how any temporary access is removed. Ongoing access or support is agreed separately.

Check the result and record the handover

The handover explains what changed, the checks completed and anything that remains with another provider. For planned migrations, the scope includes the sequence of changes and a recovery path appropriate to the work.

Understand ongoing costs and responsibilities

Hosting, domains, licences and third-party services may have their own charges and renewal dates. The proposal explains the relevant ongoing costs and who will manage them. Any continuing maintenance or support is a separate agreement.

Changes or cancellations

Tell me as soon as plans change. The written proposal sets out the arrangements that apply to the job, including any booking, cancellation or third-party costs. This page explains the approach; the agreed proposal records the terms for your work.
